What does this warning mean?
Streaming services occasionally make changes to their movies and TV shows. Sometimes these changes can only be detected by the Clearplay software after the play button has been pressed on the streaming service.
This means that even though Clearplay said the filter was available, our final safety check detected a problem the moment playback started.
What we do:
When a change is detected, this warning appears, and the filter team is automatically notified. The filter team will then manually go through the show and update the filtering. In the meantime, filtering is not available for this show.
When the filter team has completed the update, the warning will disappear, and the filtering for the movie will work properly again.
How long does it take for the filter to be updated?
The team aims to finish the update in 24 hours. Although we cannot assure that the update will be done within that timeframe, we give these unforeseen fixes high priority and strive to have everything updated as soon as possible.
Thank you!
Filtering in real-time helps keep us in harmony with copyright law. It also means tackling constant changes across thousands of movies and TV shows. It’s demanding work, but we’re all in.
If you detected a problem before we did, email care@clearplay.com, let them know the name of the movie or TV show, and the email team will add complimentary time to your subscription.
