All issues with the HBO Max channel on Amazon have been resolved. We are continuing to resolve issues with TV shows on Amazon at this time.

March 30th, 3:25 PM Mountain Time (HBO Max Channel Subscribers)
We’ve identified an issue that prevents the correct filter from applying to movies on the HBO Max Channel for Amazon Prime.
On the page with the “Play,” “Resume,” or “Watch Again” button, the extension will show “Filtering is on.” After playback starts, the pop-up will reappear within a few seconds with a “Problem Detected!” message.

March 24th, 10:57 AM Mountain Time
We’re preparing to release an update that restores filtering for movies on Amazon.
Amazon recently introduced a new video player, and we’ve updated our extension to work with these changes. Before releasing, we’re doing final testing to make sure everything works correctly when Amazon shows its own Prime previews before movies.
Once testing is complete, we’ll push the update. This release will restore movie filtering only. TV show filtering is still in progress. Thanks for your continued patience. We’re almost there.

We wanted to share a quick update. Thank you again for sticking with us. We’re very close to getting things back up and running, but we’ve hit an issue where the filter isn’t syncing correctly when ads play before a movie. We’re actively working through this and feel like we’re close to a fix.
We also want to set expectations: this upcoming build will restore movie filtering, but it will not fix TV show filtering yet. That still needs additional work.
We’re sorry we missed our 24-hour update window. We know that’s frustrating, and we truly appreciate your patience. We’re continuing to troubleshoot and will share another update as soon as we have more progress.

March 20th, 5:04 PM Mountain Time
We wanted to give you an update on our progress. A new version of the extension is set to roll out within the next 24 hours, which will restore filtering for movies on Amazon!
However, we’re still working on fully restoring filtering for TV shows. Unfortunately, TV show filtering will not be available in this update. We’re aware of the issue (where episode filters are not syncing correctly) and are continuing to work on a solution.
We truly appreciate your continued patience as we wrap up this work, and we’ll be sure to keep you updated on our progress. Stay tuned for more updates soon.

March 19th, 3:58 PM Mountain Time
We’re making good progress on a fix. A new extension build is nearly ready and is expected to restore filtering for movies. Work is still ongoing to fully resolve autoplay filtering for TV shows, and additional updates will be needed for that portion. We appreciate your patience as we finish testing and prepare this release. We’ll share another update soon.

March 18th, 5:30 PM Mountain Time
We’ve identified that recent changes made by Amazon were subsequently rolled back, which has introduced inconsistencies affecting our filtering functionality. This has made testing and validation more difficult, and we are continuing to work through these challenges to ensure a stable fix.
We sincerely apologize for the disruption and appreciate your patience as we navigate these unexpected changes. Our team is actively working to resolve the issue and will share another update as soon as we have more progress to report.
