Are You Outside the United States and Considering a Clearplay Blu-ray Player?

Use of a Clearplay Blu-ray player outside the United States is at your own risk and discretion.

If you live outside the United States, we can sell you a player. Sales alone are the limit of what we are able to offer.

Filtering Limitations Outside the United States

When used outside the United States, the Clearplay Blu-ray player does not filter DVD or Blu-ray discs manufactured outside the United States.  Technical support is provided only for DVD and Blu-ray discs obtained from official, authorized U.S. retailers such as Target, Walmart, and other brick-and-mortar stores.

Military PX Purchases and Support Eligibility

DVD and Blu-ray discs purchased through a United States military PX store may be manufactured outside the United States or unauthorized regional distributions.  Those discs are not filtered and do not qualify for technical support.

Customer Service and Technical Support Outside the United States

We do not offer customer service or technical support for our Blu-ray player if you live outside of the United States.

DVD and Blu-ray Playback and Filtering Support

  • Our Blu-ray player can play Region 1 DVDs.

  • Blu-ray discs are not region locked; our player can play a Blu-ray movie from any country.

  • DVD and Blu-ray discs manufactured and purchased in Canada or other regions worldwide are not filtered or supported.

    • Please note that our filtering system only filters discs manufactured in the United States.  Our filter team operates exclusively within the U.S., and DVD and Blu-ray discs manufactured in the United States contain specific ID numbers that correspond to the muting and skipping features in our filter system.
