# Why Is the Content Description Menu Empty?

We’re aware that some movies don't include content descriptions in the filter settings. We won't be revisiting those filters to add them, as we're focused on building new filters and maintaining current ones rather than revisiting older titles.

**Does Filtering Still Work?**

Yes. Missing content descriptions do not stop the filter from muting or skipping content. You still have the four core filter categories, but the empty menus do not provide individual scene descriptions or selections.

**What If Nothing Is Being Filtered?**

An empty content description menu is separate from a filter failing to mute or skip content. If the filter settings load but nothing is filtered, follow the steps in [Filters Load but Nothing Is Filtered](https://help.clearplay.com/docs/filters-load-but-nothing-is-filtered).
