Legacy DVD players - How do I download Filters using an Apple computer?

Please note: This article is intended for Clearplay customers who own an Apple computer and the model 747 Clearplay DVD player, as well as older models.

DVD Players Filter Downloading

Mac users can download Clearplay Filters^TM from your My Account page on our website and copy them to the FilterStik^TM or a USB flash drive.  Simply follow these steps:

1. You'll need to Accept the terms and conditions first then click the download button, this will save the file to your hard drive.

2. OS 10.3 and above will open the ZIP file automatically using Stuff It, If you are using a previous OS you need a program that will open ZIP files. This should create a folder of the same name on your desktop, it could also put the folder in your download folder.

NOTE: The downloaded file should be 'AllFilter.ZIP'. If there is any additional text after the ZIP you must remove it for the file to open correctly. It may download as 'AllFilters.ZIP, attachment'. You need to change the filename to 'AllFilters.ZIP' by removing '.attachment'.

3. Open the folder and copy all of the included files to the FilterStik. You can do this by clicking on the file, holding down the mouse, and dragging it into the FilterStik window.
