No. We do not filter closed captions. Our filters mute dialogue and skip scenes, but they do not change the text displayed in closed captions. Words muted in the audio will still appear on screen. **Regarding Subtitles** Some movies display English subtitle translations for foreign-language dialogue, even with closed captions turned off. Turning closed captions on sometimes hides these translations. The filter team uses closed captions while creating filters, so objectionable language in the translated subtitles sometimes goes unseen during review. If you spot subtitles with inappropriate language that we missed, email [care@clearplay.com](mailto:care@clearplay.com) with the movie title, streaming service, and approximate time of the scene so the filter team has the details needed to review it.
