Connecting your laptop to your television with an HDMI cable provides the highest quality connection, and is usually the simplest method to put your laptop screen onto your living room TV.
Connecting Your Computer to Your TV: Casting, Mirroring, and AirPlay Options
Connecting your computer to your TV via casting, mirroring, or AirPlay can affect the timing of our filtering. We highly recommend connecting your computer to your TV with an HDMI cable. If you would like to try casting, mirroring, or AirPlay, here are some links to different methods:

Wireless mirroring/casting may cause poor playback. If you are experiencing pixelated video, or audio that is not in sync with the video, we suggest using an HDMI cable to connect your computer to your TV.
