# Clearplay Supported Devices and Browser Requirements

**International Use Is Not Supported**

Use of Clearplay filtering outside of the United States is not supported and does not qualify for a refund.

For more details, refer to the FAQ article: [**Clearplay Availability by Country**](https://help.clearplay.com/docs/what-countries)

**Supported Devices**

Clearplay filtering works only on the Google Chrome browser on Mac and PC laptops and desktop computers.

For more information, see the FAQ article: [**Which devices are supported by Clearplay?**](https://help.clearplay.com/docs/supported-devices)

**Browsers**

Clearplay filtering is designed for Google Chrome on supported operating systems.

Using Edge or another Chromium browser? Refer to the FAQ article: [**Recommended Browser**](https://help.clearplay.com/docs/recommended-browser-1).

**Ad-based Movies**

Clearplay filtering cannot filter movies labeled “Watch for free,” movies with ads injected during playback, or streaming movie accounts that are ad-based regardless of the movie itself not having ads injected during playback.

For more information, see the FAQ article: [**Supported Subscriptions**](https://help.clearplay.com/docs/supported-subscriptions)**.**

**Chromebooks, Installation Without Support**

The Clearplay Chrome extension can be installed on a Chromebook, but Chromebooks are not a supported device. In our testing, issues seen on Chromebooks rarely occur on Mac or PCs, which points to the Chromebook environment rather than the movie filter or the extension. If the same issue occurs on both a Chromebook and a Mac or PC, email [**care@clearplay.com**](mailto:care@clearplay.com).

**Chromebook Limitations, Refunds, and Auto-Billing**

Using the Clearplay Chrome extension on a Chromebook is not supported and does not qualify for a refund. If you are using a Chromebook and Clearplay filtering is not meeting expectations, refer to the FAQ article: [**How Do I Cancel?**](https://help.clearplay.com/docs/how-do-i-cancel-1)
