# Adjusting Filtering Settings

**Customizing What Gets Filtered**

Filter settings will appear before a movie or TV show plays:

If the settings don’t appear, click on the Clearplay icon in the top right corner:

**Customizing Filters**

The filter settings have four main categories:

- Sex/Nudity
- Violence
- Language
- Substance Abuse

All filtering is turned on by default. If you wish to modify any of the filter settings, simply click on the option you want to keep in the movie.
